The SOLO/610 mic preamp offers the original Putnam 610 tube console sound in a durable, extremely adaptable design. This unit delivers the silky, vintage warmth of the original console’s mic amp design and will complement any microphone or instrument with its characteristic sound. The SOLO/610’s handy form factor allows it to be used in the control room, recording room, on stage, or a desktop. Functionally lean yet musically mean, the SOLO/610 retains the spirit of the 610 console at a budget that any serious project studio can afford.

The SOLO/610 has Mic and DI inputs, as well as Gain and Level control to produce a wide range of clean to colorful tones. Unlike its predecessors, the SOLO/610 features continuous gain control with a much wider range, allowing for more accurate gain structuring while also serving as input signal padding. The SOLO/610 includes all of the important functions, including 48V Phantom Power, Lo-Cut filtering, Phase Reverse, and flexible dual impedance settings for both Mic and DI inputs. The SOLO/610 contains key DI capabilities such as Thru usage with an amplifier, Ground Lift, and a configurable Mic/Line level output selector.
