The shell on each drum is made of 1.0 mm thick Steel, finished in a sleek Matte Black. The EvansR Black Chrome? batter head provides excellent tone and nicely complements the black/black drum finish motif. The shallower 4” depth model excels as supplying a sharp backbeat, quick response and powerful crack while the 8” deep drum affords added body and depth to the tone with an incredibly flexible tuning range.
