With 22 more detectable scales added to Launchkey’s Scale Mode, the total number of detectable scales now stands at 30. The onboard generative arpeggiator allows for the modification and enhancement of patterns at the per-step level, extending output possibilities when paired with the Launchkey MK4’s three onboard scale modes.

Launchkey 37 MK4 controllers offer a versatile playing experience in various settings, including live, studio, DAW-based, hardware, and hybrid setups. They feature three built-in chord modes: Chord Map, User Chord Mode, and Fixed Chord Mode. The Chord Detector displays chords on the OLED screen, inspiring and broadening performance palettes. The Fixed Chord feature allows for recording fixed-interval chords and playing them with a single key. The User Chord and Chord Map settings utilize 16 polyphonic aftertouch-enabled touchpads, allowing users to save up to 16 chords, one for each pad.

The Launchkey MK4 is a versatile instrument that can be transformed into a standalone instrument through its Chord Map mode. This mode splits the FSR pads into two categories: chords in blue and performance tools in orange. The leftmost pads store chords, while the rightmost supports bidirectional arpeggiation, chord inversion, and two-handed bass and chord and chord split. Novation’s Launchkey MK4 is a versatile MIDI controller designed for various studio and stage settings, including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Reaper, and Reason. Its built-in support allows for easy plug-and-play interfaces. For personalized production, Novation’s Components software allows for fully customizable mapping profiles and interfaces with virtually any MIDI-compatible instrument. The Launchkey 49 and Launchkey 61 MK4 controllers feature Split and Layer, dividing the keyboard into two separate programmable zones or playing two distinct MIDI channels from the same keys. These controllers offer artistic possibilities for artists.

Every Launchkey MK4 model includes a sustain input and a MIDI output, allowing you to connect your controller to a wide range of performance setups.
