Novation FLkey 2 49 MIDI Keyboard Controller for FL Studio

Novation FLkey 2 49 MIDI Keyboard Overview

The Novation FLkey 2 49 is an ideal tool for producing FL Studio-based tracks and can accomplish practically any task your project requires. Sweetwater production veterans describe this 49-key MIDI controller as a true mission-control solution, from playing instruments and producing beats and bass lines to adjusting levels and tweaking in precise effects and filters. Customization is simple thanks to Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) compatibility, enabling two-way communication between the controller and all Native Instruments and NKS-compatible apps in your collection.

Novation additionally improves the simplicity of use of the FLkey 2 49 by including Mackie HUI support, which lets you switch between FL Studio and another DAW, as well as compatibility with modern macOS, Windows, and iOS devices, assuring smooth interaction with your studio setup. USB-C bus power and 5-pin MIDI connectivity are included, as well as a sustain pedal connector for enhanced user control. Complete with a superb array of integrated software, the FLkey 2 49 will prove to be a flexible vehicle for creative expression and refining in any FL Studio project.

Made for FL Studio.

FLkey 2 49 links directly to your main FL Studio operations, including the Channel Rack, Step Sequencer, Mixer, and plugins. Play instruments, sequence patterns, and shape your mix with automatically mapped controls, allowing you to focus on creating rather than setting.

Capture Inspiration Quickly

With four octaves of responsive semi-weighted keys and pitch and mod wheels, the FLkey 2 49 provides expressive control straight out of the box. Built-in creative features, such as Scale mode, Fixed Chord mode, Chord Maps, and a strong arpeggiator, make it simple to create melodies and chords and develop sequences without stifling your creativity.

Lay Down Beats.

The 16 RGB pads may be used to trigger samples or sequence patterns directly in the channel rack. Each pad has polyphonic aftertouch, making it excellent for expressive finger drumming with FPC, SliceX, and Fruity Slicer, whether you’re creating beats or performing them live.

Adjust your mix.

Eight infinite encoders and nine precise faders allow instant access to levels, filters, and effects, which are all instantly mapped to FL Studio. Navigate your project, tweak parameters, and fine-tune your sound with accuracy, while the vivid OLED display provides clear, real-time visual feedback.

Go beyond FL Studio.

A full-size MIDI out connector allows you to connect additional synthesizers and gear. FLkey 2 49 also allows custom mappings via Novation Components, works with NKS-ready applications and Native Instruments tools, and has Mackie HUI compatibility for usage with other DAWs.
