About this item

• OUR BASSIEST DJEMBE: its heavy low-end bass can be felt across a room; the Meinl Jumbo Djembe creates serious boom, way more than even our own traditional djembes, but without overstepping volume
• WHY IT MATTERS: deep, rhythmic bass moves people and music more than just about anything else; now you can bring that feeling to acoustic gigs and drum circles while staying in the range of volume djembes are designed for
• DRIVING THE SOUND: the synthetic head is built into an extra-thick hoop that lets low tones develop into super deep, resonant bass; the large synthetic body projects bass and high notes with a classic djembe sound
• ZOOM IN: steel tension rods make it easy to tune or change the head; includes tuning key to quickly tighten or loosen the rods
• OF NOTE: the 100% synthetic all-weather body and head are perfect for traveling and playing outdoors; this lightweight material isn’t temperamental with weather and is easy to carry around
• BY THE NUMBERS: measures 12″ W x 24″ H and weighs 9.4 lbs; the head measures 12″ across
• THE BOTTOM LINE: the Jumbo Djembe brings extra-deep bass to drum circles (indoors and outside), acoustic shows, or recording; it’s great for all skill levels and requires little to no maintenance
• THE BIG PICTURE: Meinl is a family-owned musical instrument manufacturer and brand established 1951 in Germany; our expert German designers have deep relationships with our builders to ensure you’re delivered the absolute finest quality
