DESCRIPTION :

The Cort SFX series of acoustic guitars are modern electro-acoustic guitars. The guitars offer narrow bodies with a bottom cutaway for better matching at high fret positions, a modern fast neck with a V profile, Jumbo frets and high-quality electronics.

The solid SFX-Myrtlewood NAT electro-acoustic guitar’s front plate is made of the manufacturer’s proprietary Myrtlewood (California Hemlock or Umbellaria), which underwent a special heat treatment (Aged to Vintage torefaction process) before assembly. The result is the sound and look of decades of aged woods, yet it is a brand new model. The back and sides are made of plywood myrtlewood. The natural acoustic resonance of the wood is enhanced by X ribbing (Advanced-X) and a thin layer of UV lacquer.

The mahogany neck is glued to a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard, with positioning dots for easy orientation. The strings are anchored in Die-Cast tuning machines with black pegs and an ovangkol fingerboard.

The guitar is fitted with Fishman Presys II active electronics with integrated tuner, two-band EQ, volume control and Phase knob.
