The Austrian Audio OD303 is a handheld dynamic microphone designed for live singing and speech on stage. It has a clean and wide sound and several capabilities that make it ideal for live sound reinforcement and speaking in event settings. The microphone’s sturdy, die-cast housing is comfortable in the hand and will withstand years of everyday usage in the practice room and on tour.
The OD303 is an appropriately formed super-cardioid polar pattern with a broad frequency range to capture the subtleties of your voice. This tight pickup pattern reduces feedback on stage and is especially well suited to the frequently used practice of holding the microphone near the head grille, which eliminates sound shifts. The OD303’s dual-capsule design reduces handling noise and stage vibrations at low frequencies, making it ideal for portable use. Its innovative internal 3D Pop Noise Diffuser helps keep plosives like “T” and “P” to a minimum. A mic clip and a bag are supplied.
