The PreSonus Quantum HD 2, the result of over 30 years of design experience, is a 20×24 USB-C desktop audio interface suited for producers, artists, and creators seeking high-fidelity audio and versatile connecting choices for the studio or live onstage. The HD 2 has two high-definition MAX-HD mic preamps with +75 dB of gain, which are perfect for today’s most popular microphones. Guitarists and bassists will appreciate the front-facing instrument inputs, which were co-created with Fender engineers. High-performance 32-bit / 192 kHz converters with a 124 dB dynamic range allow you to hear and record music with astonishing clarity. The Quantum HD 2 may be used to record on a Mac/Windows computer, an iOS/Android phone, or a tablet. An Auto Gain button allows you to easily choose the optimal gain level for your microphones and instruments. You also get two preamp outputs, which let you transfer audio from your DAW and experiment with amps and effects to shape your sounds. A built-in DSP monitor mixer and loopback audio make making monitor and streaming mixes quick and simple. Connect an external A/D converter to the ADAT I/Os to record and play up to 16 additional audio channels. You may also use the Universal Operate app to record directly to your mobile device or remotely operate the Quantum HD 2.
