The iD48’s eight Audient Console mic preamps ensure that your audio is captured cleanly, accurately, and true to source. This is the same analog and discrete mic preamp circuit architecture used in our acclaimed recording console, the ASP8024-HE. No emulations or duplicates, just actual analog console mic preamps on your desktop.

Expand your studio.

With iD48’s optical input and output connectors, you can shorten even the most demanding sessions while also future-proofing your studio. iD48 supports both ADAT and SPDIF, allowing you to expand your I/O by adding up to 16 channels of additional mic preamps to your setup.

Designed for outboard integration.

Using Dsub connectors, iD48 offers eight completely balanced inserts, allowing you to add your favorite outboard FX before conversion, resulting in the clearest signal path conceivable. Ideal for stem blending and printbacks. For the first time, iD48’s Switchable insert routing allows you to choose which source feeds the ADC circuit. You may select whether to transmit the Audient Mic Preamp or DAW outputs to your outboard on a per-channel basis, without having to plug and unplug cords.
