Austrian Audio’s OC16 is a reliable condenser microphone designed for home, project, and professional studios. It features transformerless Open Acoustics technology, a built-in diffuser, and a targeted cardioid pickup pattern. It captures accurate, uncoloured audio for various instruments, including drums, electric and acoustic guitars, pianos, wind and string instruments, and vocals. The microphone’s elastic spider shock mount protects against handling and vibration noises, making it ideal for podcasting, streaming, and voice-over applications. The microphone also features a three-position low-cut switch for precise filtering of undesired frequencies. It requires 48V phantom power via the XLR connection.
