The Kick Mic’s heart is the KC608 capsule, which features a 17 mm diaphragm inside a 40 mm element and the aforementioned rear-ventilated chamber. The KC608 capsule allows the Kick Mic to maintain a full cardioid polar pattern at frequencies as low as 50 Hz. Lauten Audio’s Air Coupling Modes are then used to decrease the possibility of general muddiness caused by low-frequency accumulation, ensuring that the natural sound of your kick drum is accurately reflected.
